Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the iCado mobile application ("App," "Service") operated by dotTreeSoft ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using iCado, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Overview
iCado is an AI-powered face analysis app that determines whether you look like a cat or a dog, matches you with a specific breed, and offers premium features including chemistry analysis and figure creation.
- Free Features: Face photo analysis, cat/dog ratio determination, and breed matching
- Premium Features: Chemistry analysis and figure creation (paid, one-time purchase per use)
2. Account and Access
iCado does not require any user registration or login. The App identifies your device using an anonymous device identifier (UUID) generated and stored securely on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.
3. Premium Products
3.1 Product Types
All premium products are one-time, consumable (non-subscription) digital content. Each purchase entitles you to a single use of the corresponding feature.

Prices are displayed in your local currency through Google Play.
3.2 Payment Processing
All payments are processed through Google Play's billing system. By making a purchase, you also agree to Google Play's Terms of Service.
4. Result Delivery and Data Retention
- Premium results are generated immediately upon purchase and delivered in real-time within the App.
- You are encouraged to save or screenshot any results you wish to keep before the 7-day expiration.
- Once results expire and are deleted, they cannot be restored, even with a new purchase.
5. Refund Policy
5.1 General Policy
Due to the nature of digital content that is delivered immediately upon purchase, refunds are generally not available once the premium result has been generated and delivered.
5.2 Exceptions
Refunds may be considered in the following cases:
- Duplicate or accidental purchase (same product purchased twice in error)
- Technical failure where payment was completed but no result was delivered due to a server error
- Unauthorized purchase (e.g., by a minor without parental consent)
5.3 How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are eligible for a refund:
- Through Google Play: Request a refund directly via Google Play's refund process
- Contact Us: Email [email protected] with your order details and reason for the request
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to Google Play's refund policies.
6. Purchase Restoration
6.1 When Restoration Applies
If a purchase was completed but the result was not delivered due to any of the following reasons, you may restore your purchase:
- Network disconnection during result generation
- App crash or unexpected closure after payment
- Device restart or app reinstallation after payment
- Server error during AI processing
6.2 How Purchase Restoration Works
- When you reopen the App, the system automatically checks for any undelivered purchases linked to your device.
- If a valid, undelivered purchase is found within the 7-day retention period, the premium result will be generated and delivered automatically.
- Purchase restoration is available only within 7 days of the original purchase date.
6.3 Limitations
- Restoration is not available after the 7-day data retention period has expired.
- If you uninstall the App, a new anonymous device ID may be generated, which could prevent automatic restoration. In such cases, contact us for manual assistance.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful or harmful purpose
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the App's security features
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
- Upload photos that contain illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
- Abuse the purchase restoration system through fraudulent claims
Violation of these terms may result in your device being blocked from accessing the Service.
8. Intellectual Property
- The App, its design, code, AI models, and all related content are the property of dotTreeSoft.
- Analysis results generated for you are provided for your personal, non-commercial use.
- You retain ownership of any photos you upload. We do not claim any rights to your photos.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:
- The accuracy or reliability of AI-generated analysis results
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
- That the Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations
AI analysis results are for entertainment purposes only and should not be used as the basis for any personal, medical, or professional decisions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, dotTreeSoft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from reliance on analysis results.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific premium product in question.
11. Service Modifications and Termination
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.
- We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
- If we permanently discontinue the Service, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice and allow users to access their unexpired results.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.
